A People’s Choice Award nomination for his guest role on The Good Wife isn’t the only kudos for Quogue resident Michael J. Fox lately. The actor has had fans buzzing over his role as guitar hero in New York City the other night, as his rollicking “Johnny B. Goode” in front of a live audience at the Waldor-Astoria on Saturday was one of the highlights for guests gathered for his A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s benefit gala.
The performance brought back fond memories of Fox embodying the stylings of Chuck Berry in Back to the Future. Fox never actually learned how to play the guitar for the film, but he has since picked up the instrument—as you’ll see below.
