East End Students in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
Pay extra close attention while you’re watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Following five weeks of national auditions, Camp Broadway— the award-winning theater arts education company—has announced its cast of 132 theatre-loving kids, ages 12-16, who will be performing in the 85th Anniversary Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and nine of these talented cast members will represent the East End!
They will appear on the ZhuZhu Pets Zhu-niverse float before the 50 million people watching on TV and 3.5 million people lining the streets of New York City on Thanksgiving morning, November 24, beginning at 9 a.m. The cast has been selected from a nationwide pool of more than 1,000 auditionees to perform an original number, “There’s No Place Like Here.”
The kids from the East End who are going to be performing are Danielle Allen, 15, of Riverhead; Karley Bourke, 14, of Southampton; Toryn Cairo, 15, of Shoreham; Rose Davis, 15, of Westhampton Beach; Kristen Gregory, 15, of Stony Brook; Tyler Hill, 13, of Westhampton Beach; Natalie Hunter, 16, of Kings Park; Sabrina Kull, 14, of Hampton Bays; and Christiana Moyle, 14, of Westhampton Beach.
