Tasty Morsels for East End Foodies

Hundreds of East End farmers and foodies attended the 2nd Annual Small Farm Summit at Hofstra University on Saturday, April14, but that’s not the only food news exciting us on the East End.

A Manhattan branch of Sag Harbor’s popular Japanese restaurant Sen is to open this summer on West 21st Street. M&E, that restaurant on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike that used to be Ziggy’s Surf Shack, is on the market again. Here’s hoping someone buys it and turns it back into what it was years ago—a roadhouse with live music!

Want more? Ina Garten and Toni Ross enjoyed a meal at Southampton’s red|bar last week. And word on the street: the Fried Bologna Sandwich at the Riverhead Project is “SO good!” Bon appetit!
