Clint Eastwood Is Messing With My Hamptons Labor Day Weekend
Every place that I’ve been to today has involved a conversation about Clint Eastwood’s speech at the Republican National Convention.
I was getting coffee at Schmidt’s this morning and I heard people talking about it. It was mostly good, everybody seems to love Clint Eastwood. I love the guy. I can’t not love him, he’s just as cool as the get.
But man oh man did this guy just anger a lot of Democrats. This afternoon, I stopped into P.C. Richards to fix my car stereo, and Clint came up, and they were MAD AS HELL. He’s supposed to be on OUR TEAM, not THEIR team. The conversation got heated when I started to defend him.
This is America. People are allowed to feel how they want to feel, and the same is true for Clint Eastwood. I kinda wish that Clint Eastwood ran for President when he was a little bit younger, I’d have voted for him, he’s a class act.
