Walking Through The Public Trails In The Hamptons Is A Spiritual Experience
Yesterday, as a spur of the moment thing, I decided to take a walk through Sag Harbor’s amazing public park called trout pond. As I walked through the woods I was reminding myself of how I used to be such a woods guy when I was a kid. Back then I lived in the woods in Springs and all I did was play in the woods in the summertime, bugs never bothered me then, I never worried about ticks, I never worry about anything else, the only thing I worried about was poison ivy. But yesterday as I walk through trout pond and the trail for no more than 15 minutes, I got back to my car and had bug bites everywhere and found four ticks on my body.
What happened to me? I used to be such a country boy! I guess that’s the way it goes, somebody get me some mosquito spray STAT
Do yourself a favor and go for a walk this time of year through some of the public parks in the Hamptons, they’re all amazing and this time year is the time to do it. It’s a spiritual experience, just make sure that you bring bug spray.
