Everyone In The Hamptons Can Calm Down, The Rumor That The World Will End December 21 Is Not True
I can’t believe that people actually think that the world is going to come to an end on December 21. That’s like believing that Old Man McGumbus isn’t a real guy!
The United States Government made an official announcement on December 3 that then end of the world rumors are indeed, false. USA.gov wrote on its official blog, “The world will not end on December 21, 2012, or any day in 2012. Unfortunately, these rumors have many people frightened, especially children. NASA has received thousands of letters concerned about the end of the world. David Morrison, a planetary astronomer and senior scientist for NASA who answers questions from the public about astrobiology, says, “At least a once a week I get a message from a young person ― as young as 11 ― who says they are ill and/or contemplating suicide because of the coming doomsday.”
The U.S. Government is officially telling you directly that the world will not end on December 21. If that doesn’t have you convinced that the world won’t end, then I don’t know what will!
So please residents of the Hamptons, don’t push the button that turns your oceanfront home into a self sustaining spaceship running on Moon oil. It’s not necessary just yet.
