What’s Up on The End: Notes From Montauk

Renowned Montauk artist Julian Schnabel is expecting a baby with fiancée May Anderson. This will be his sixth child.

Montauk fashion designer Cynthia Rowley appeared as a guest judge on Project Runway: All Stars last week. Rowley’s task? To critique dresses inspired by couture and Paris, where the episode was filmed.

Montauk’s Cynthia Nixon is starring on a new miniseries in the UK. World Without End, a sequel to author Ken Follett‘s The Pillars of the Earth, premiered on Channel 4 in Britain and Netflix in the US last week.

Montauk playwright extraordinaire Edward Albee will celebrate his 85th birthday in March. His classic play Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, written in 1962, continues to pack the house at the Booth Theater in Manhattan. The entire cast is outstanding, but offers particularly memorable performances by Tracey Letts as George and Carrie Coons as Honey.
