Tim Ferriss’ 4-Hour Chef Wins Cookbook Award

Blogging from Paris, Springs native and author of The 4-Hour Workweek, Tim Ferriss announced that his latest tome, The 4-Hour Chef, won Best First Cookbook at the 18th Annual “Best in the World” Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

Ferriss said he was at a loss for words while accepting the award in Paris on Sunday and he thanked his fans profusely on his blog at fourhourworkweek.com:

Thank you to everyone who helped make this book a reality. It was all worth it.
Thank you to my incredible family.
Thank you to my wonderfully supportive girlfriend.
Thank you to every one of you, my dear readers. You’re the reason I keep writing.

More than 26,000 food and wine books are produced every year, and books from more than 100 countries participate in the Gourmand Awards.
