An exciting evening of Spanish and Latin influenced classical music will be presented Friday at the Southampton Cultural Center. Works by Piazzolla, Milhaud and Rodrigo will be performed with professional polish and romantic passion by Stony Brook University doctoral candidates in performance. Dog Obedience Classes at ARF
90 Daniels Hole Road, Wainscott
Dogs and their handlers will learn basic obedience using positive reinforcement techniques. Curriculum includes leash handling, let’s go, turning techniques, stay/stand, sit/stay, down/stay, come and leash pulling prevention exercises. Classes are held at the ARF Adoption Center Saturdays or Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. (Basic) and 10 a.m. (Intermediate) with instructor, Matthew Posnick. Five classes for $125. Crystal Possehl from the South Fork Natural History Museum introduces some native animals that may live just steps from your door. Hamptons Restaurant Week signups have already begun for the 11th annual campaign, which kicks off this week! From Sunday, April 7 through Sunday, April 14, participating restaurants offer three-course prix-fixe menus for $19.95 and/or $27.95 every night they’re open, except Saturday when deals may only be offered until 7 p.m.
