Christy Turlington in Harper’s Bazaar

Hamptonite Christy Turlington graces the cover of Harper’s Bazaar June issue next month. In addition to modeling, Turlington’s been keeping busy with her new business venture: designing baby carriers, changing bags and more for Ergobaby. The new line is part of a partnership between Ergobaby and Turlington’s charity, Every Mother Counts, which benefits pregnant women in poverty-stricken countries.

Turlington also notes that the Department of Health and Human Services has designated May 2013 as the first National Preeclampsia Awareness Month on the U.S. National Health Observances Calendar. Though she highlights this fact on her website, it appears Turlington has no plans to celebrate the uplifting observance.

Fellow Hamptons homeowner Gwyneth Paltrow was the Harper’s Bazaare cover girl in May.
