Montauk Ready to Rock at the 4th Annual Music Festival

All weekend long

Montauk is getting ready to pulsate when established and emerging independent musicians perform at the Montauk Music Festival, a FREE three day musical celebration set against the back-drop of one of the most idyllic beach communities in Long Island’s East End. More than 200 artists performing a variety of musical styles (from alternative rock, folk, pop, Americana and reggae to blues, jazz, bluegrass, and more), will entertain for free in the spirit of sharing original music with audiences and fellow musicians.  The festival will also feature industry workshops – free for participating musicians, taking place at Gurney’s Inn on Friday May 17th.  A schedule of the concerts can be found at montaukmusicfestival.com Call 631-668-2428.

“MOVIN’ OUT…A Different Kind of Duelling Piano” at The Suffolk Theater

Every Saturday 9am – 1pm. The market is host to over 45 Long Island Farmers, Growers and Producers selling products that are all grown or produced here on Long Island. There are weekly events, music, educational programs, and activities for children.

The Watermill Center invites you to a new program initiative, Saturdays @ WMC that focuses on unique ways to interact with The Watermill Center grounds, collection, studios and kitchen. On Saturday, May 18th from 12pm-3pm the Center is hosting local artists to lead workshops inspired by everything the Center has to offer.
