The Serena & Lily store in Wainscott was loaded with guests this morning for their shopping event to benefit Jessica Seinfeld’s charity, Baby Buggy, which provides families in need all over the United States with essential baby gear supplies.
The event was hosted by Serena Dugan, Lily Kanter, Marcie Pantzer, Jessica Seinfeld, Candice Postel and Kelly Behun, and went from 10 a.m. until noon. The Serena & Lily store in their Hamptons location is a favorite for young Hamptons moms, with a lifestyle approach that offers everything from bedding, furniture, rugs, lighting, decor, gifts, bath, outdoor, paint and fabric by the yard, as well as a new KIDSHOP catalog.
Jessica Seinfeld and designer Kelly Behun were sitting together on a cottage chair outside and seemed really happy and relaxed. “Serena & Lily is really appealing to me because I don’t feel so intimidated by it. Plus I’m here with my genius, mastermind-interior designer friend here, so there’s that,” Jessica said. “The store is a lot of fun and really accessible. And it’s nice to be here with Kelly.”
“You can quote her on that,” Kelly laughed.
Jessica Seinfeld got involved with Serena & Lily because of how helpful they’ve been to her charity. “My non-profit Baby Buggy, that I founded over 12 years ago, and Serena & Lily partnered together on this event. This is their first season out here with their store and they have been extraordinarily generous with helping families in need,” Jessica said.
