Gimme Shelter Animal Rescue Hosts Second Annual Summer Benefit
The East End continues to do great work for at-risk and endangered dogs and cats around the nation!
On Saturday, July 27 from 5-8 p.m. Gimme Shelter Animal Rescue is hosting their Second Annual Summer Benefit at the Sagaponack home of Michelle Neufeld Montak & Edward Montak, (214 Toppings Path).
As Gimme Shelter’s Founder and Executive Director, Michelle Montak has devoted the past five years of her life exclusively to rescuing animals, raising awareness about animal welfare and furthering her organization’s mission to rescue animals nearing euthanasia in kill shelters nationwide. To date, Montak has rescued and adopted more than 1,800 animals from high-kill facilities across the country.
“We are passionate about our rescue work and dedicate our lives to saving the lives of animals,” Montak said, adding, “Through our extremely successful foster-based adoption program on Long Island New York, we work tirelessly to place all of our rescues in responsible and loving forever homes.”
This benefit will help raise awareness and the necessary funds to support Gimme Shelter saving as many animals as possible. The shelter rescue animals responsibly and all donations raised will be used toward medical expenses, boarding and transport. So make sure to attend and enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and an incredible silent auction! Each donation makes it possible for Gimme Shelter Animal Rescue to continue saving many more precious lives!
Everyone is welcome to attend and meet other animal lovers and advocates on this fabulous night.
Tickets are $75 per person, $100 per person at the door.
