Hamptons Celebrity Dining Log: Real Housewives Eat Italian
The Hamptons hasn’t lost its luster quite yet for our many celebrity residents and visitors. It seems the stars are enjoying the cooler weather and low key atmosphere that autumn brings, and they’re dining out to celebrate.
News anchor Rosanna Scotto had a family meal and enjoyed some Italian fare at Osteria Salina in Bridgehampton with her husband and parents. Chairman of the New York Stock Exchange Richard Grasso also ate at Osteria Salina, as did Real Housewives of New York City star Ramona Singer and eight of her friends.
Now that daughter Avery has gone off to college, Singer and hubby Mario may be spending more nights out on the town. She recently blogged about the change:
“It had been a very emotional time getting ready to send our only ‘baby’ off on her own but we began to look at all the positives,” she blogged on Tuesday. “Mario and I also realized this could a special time for us and our marriage. Now that Avery is at college there is a lot less every day stress and worry. We can now spend some time focusing on the two of us with special dinners and nights together. Even some nights apart for personal time.”
Fellow Real Housewives alum and rising daytime talk star Bethenny Frankel and a large group of friends also enjoyed some Italian food at Sotto Sopra in Amagansett. Her new show, Bethenny, began airing weekdays at 11 a.m. on Fox this fall.
British playwright and filmmaker Martin McDonagh, who wrote and directed In Bruges, starring Colin Farrell and Ralph Fiennes, enjoyed a meal at 75 Main in Southampton.
