Topping Rose House Makes Fodor's 100, Hosts Autumn Orchard Festival
Recently named among the “Fodor’s 100,” Tom Colicchio’s Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton is celebrating the start of the fall season with an Autumn Orchard Festival this weekend.
From noon to 3 p.m. on both Saturday, October 5 and Sunday October 6, the award-winning restaurant and inn welcomes visitors of all ages to visit and enjoy the festivities at the Topping Rose House orchard. The event will feature numerous family friendly activities, including pumpkin decorating, making caramel apples, farm tours and more. Mulled cider, local beer, cider doughnuts and grilled sausages and veggies will be served.
Topping Rose House earned its Fodor’s 100 distinction last week, when the annual hotel awards were announced. The restaurant and inn was named in the “Culinary Gems” category, alongside 11 other hotels, including Nobu in Las Vegas, Eden Rock of St. Jean and St. Barthélemy, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxford, Claridge’s in London, Hôtel Metropole in Monte Carlo and Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, to name a few.
The international awards were also given out in categories such as “Enduring Classics,” “Creative Conversations,” “Home Suite Homes,” “Sleek City Addresses,” “Local Characters,” “Exotic Hideaways” and “Blissful Beach Retreats.” Topping Rose House was the only East End hotel to make the list.
