Christmas With the Paltrow-Martins
In a December cover interview for the U.K.’s Red magazine, Gwyneth Paltrow opens up on how she and husband Chris Martin and children Apple and Moses spend Christmas.
The interview was conducted in July at Paltrow’s Amagansett home.
“We’ve spent a number of Christmases here,” Paltrow told Red. “That’s why there are fireplaces everywhere, because in the off season it’s really beautiful. My dad’s ashes are buried here. It just feels like… home.”
She explained that eight years ago, after her father died and mother Blythe Danner prepared to sell the family home in Santa Monica, she bought in Amagansett to have a new family compound. Danner bought an acre of property behind Paltrow’s cottage.
Paltrow also discusses her lifestyle website goop and her move back to Los Angeles from London.
