Cops: Man Took $2,500 from Sag Harbor Business

A Water Mill man turned himself in Friday on charges that he stole $2,489 in cash from a cafe, according to Sag Harbor Village police.
Police say 24-year-old Timothy P. Gallo, of Water Mill, took the money from a filing cabinet at SagTown Coffee on October 21.
Gallo is charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony. He was released on $250 stationhouse bail and is scheduled to appear in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court on December 24 for arraignment.
