Homenature Rebuilds Former Le Sportsac Site in Southampton

The building that housed Le Sportsac in Southampton Village from 1974 to 2011, at 19 Pond Lane, has been reduced to just its architectural skeleton so that it can be rebuilt as the newest Homenature store.

Homenature, a hip modern home decor store, will keeps its shop at 6 Main Street, and the second storefront will allow for the display of more and larger merchandise.

The once brick-faced building will soon have a fascade with very large glass windows, and the new second story will include glass and greenery. It shares a wall with the Southampton Cultural Center.

Architect W.A. Slight, of Water Mill, designed the building and Jason Klinge Residential Contracting was at work this week.
