Put Away the Sunscreen—Snow, Rain in Store for South Fork Tuesday

It’s going to be a snowy and rain soaked Tuesday in the Hamptons.

The National Weather Service forecasts a chance of snow early -Tuesday, mainly after 5 a.m., with a low temperature of 23 degrees. Then during the daylight hours rain and snow is expected, becoming all rain after 3 p.m., with a high temperature near 39 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent. Snow accumulation could be between 1 and 2 inches.

In the evening, there is a chance of rain before 8 p.m., followed by a slight chance of snow before midnight.

After Tuesday, precipitation is not expected again until Friday evening.
