Officers arrived to find that a rear door had been forced open and a west side window of the gas station was broken, a police report stated. According to the report, as officers continued to check the area they found a shed had been forced open and a man was inside.

The man, identified as 43-year-old Jeffery D. Pittman, of Flanders, was charged with third-degree burglary, a felony, and possession of burglar’s tools, a misdemeanor.
