Nile Rodgers Wins, Performs at Grammys

For the first time in six years Daft Punk performed on national television, taking the stage Sunday at the Grammys with Pharrell Williams, Stevie Wonder and  Nile Rodgers for the smash hit “Get Lucky” plus Chic‘s “Le Freak” and Wonder’s “Another Star.”

Rodgers, the host of the AFTEE benefit dance party in Riverhead in August, accepted awards for his work on Daft Punk’s album Random Access Memories along with his colleagues.

“Get Lucky” won for Record of the Year and Daft Punk won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Get Lucky.” In all, Random Access Memories was nominated for five awards.
