Be-In Festival is a grassroots music festival that started in 1988. From its beginnings and through today, the festival aims to establish a better community through music, charity and positive thinking.
“We are all part of an inter-connected web of existence,” states the Be-In website, beinfestival.org. “We touch each other’s lives and why not make that a good, positive experience?”
Be-In hopes to do so by incorporating cultural diversity into music, art, literature, and philosophy during the day-long festival. “It shows people that there is another way to live. Another way to Be.”
