Jewish Center of the Hamptons to 'Stand Up for Israel'
This Friday, August 8, the Jewish Center of the Hamptons in East Hampton will be holding a “Stand Up for Israel” event in response to the conflict in Gaza.
Kids in attendance will have the chance to participate in an art project, which will be sent to Israeli children. There will also be Israeli food, music, and a silent auction.
All proceeds from the event, which begins at 4 p.m., will be donated to Magen David Odom, the Israel Trauma Coalition and Hadassah Hospital.
Shabbat services will be held on the center’s lawn at 6 p.m. following the “Stand Up for Israel” demonstration.
A music performance by Caravan Tzofim, a group of Israeli teenagers, will take place at 6:30 p.m.
