Damianos Family Sells 87 Acres in Cutchogue
The Damianos, the family that owns Pindar and Duck Walk vineyards, have sold 87 acres of property in Cutchogue, Town & Country Real Estate reports.
The land includes 859 feet of frontage on the Long Island Sound, a cottage and a potato barn. The asking price was $8,803,000.
As part of the deal, the family will maintain mature vines on about half of the property for some time.
According to Town & Country, the buyers have homes in Manhattan and Bridgehampton. “They have always been forward thinking and recognized the value of investing on the North Fork,” Town & Country CEO Judi Desiderio says of the purchasers. “The future plan for them is for a family compound and vineyard farm. They have great taste so there’s no doubt it will be a spectacular addition to the beauty of the North Fork.”
