Video: Spider Crab Herd Travels Under Ponquogue Bridge
Oct 09, 2013 - Nature and underwater photographer/videographer Chris Paparo of Fish Guy Photos saw quite the sight last week while scuba diving by the Ponquogue Bridge in Hampton Bays—hundreds, if not thousands, of spider crabs gathered together and moving like a herd.  "I witnessed what I think might have been a fall migration of spider crabs," he said on his Facebook page. "I have never seen anything like this before."
