We put too much time, energy and money into carefully
designing and decorating the rooms in our homes – from our living
rooms to our bathrooms. Often, most of our energy is devoted to decorating
our bathrooms with top of the line designer fixtures. We tend to do
this because we know that most houseguests often judge us by our bathrooms,
so why not make sure our toilets are as extravagant as the rest of our
homes? With toilets on the market such as the “Fish n’ Flush,”
a toilet containing a 2.2 gallon fish tank, or the “Neorest”
by Japanese company, Toto, with a heated seat and a self rising lid,
or even the newest toilets in the works containing a reclining seat,
your toilet can be quite the conversation starter.
The Fish n’ Flush Toilet Aquarium is a toilet that makes double
use of your toilet’s standard flush tank. Half of the flush tank
is used to house your unique selection of sea creatures in a 2.2-gallon
exterior tank. A Flush n’ Fish toilet tank aquarium kit includes
the two piece aquarium tank, a dual-filter system with pump, artificial
plants, flushing system, flush valve, and fill valve plus your basic
aquarium guide. This tank is all set for use with most two-piece toilets
and all you have to do is add water, gravel and fish. This toilet has
the ability to go with almost any bathroom decor, by simply changing
the color of your gravel and fish to match you color scheme. The built-in
LED lights come in handy at night for both fish gazing and to help our
men aim correctly.
Toto, the largest toilet maker in the world, is located in Japan and
has been creating the most cutting edge toilets on the market for ninety
years. They are known for their sleek, space saving designs but their
Neorest toilet is truly luxury redefined. Imagine a toilet that opens
its lid upon approach, has no need for toilet paper and did I mention
heated seats? The Neorest has made this dream a reality. As you walk
up to a Neorest, the sophisticated sensor technology activates the lid
to automatically rise and a simple touch of a button puts the seat up
for the male population. When the seat remains down, it can be heated
to any temperature you desire between 86 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Neorest also comes equipped with a front and rear oscillating cleanser.
With just one push of a button, a nozzle extends from under the seat
and gently cleanses with a back and forth motion for maximum comfort
and optimum cleaning. Eliminating the need for toilet paper, an air
dryer dries your body with a warm steady stream of air. For those of
you worrying that this is unsanitary, don’t, Toto has thought
of this, the cleansing nozzle has a self-cleaning function that sanitizes
the nozzle before and after each use. The Neorest also comes with a
sleek remote control, which allows you to control every function of
the toilet with, from raising or lowering the lid to cleansing your
front or rear and the position and pressure of your cleaning. It seems
that Toto has thought of everything. What more could you possibly want
from a toilet?
The market for luxury toilets does not end here. I found a patent published
in 2006 for an invention that includes a reclining toilet seat. It says
that with a touch of a button the seat can be reclined to any level
that is comfortable to the user. As you are reading this article, perhaps
even on your toilet, I hope you consider the difference a new toilet
can make in your home. For years bathrooms have not only been used for
relieving ourselves but also for a place of refuge from everyday stresses.
We know that we will not be bothered when in the bathroom, so why not
make it one of the most luxurious rooms in our homes. Whether it’s
fish that floats your boat or a toilet that can do almost everything,
you owe it to yourself and your houseguests to make every trip to the
bathroom an exciting one.
