The Golden Pear Café will prepare Thanksgiving dinner for pick-up or delivery from any of their locations. Order by Monday, November 20th, at 4 p.m. and dinner may be picked up or delivered anytime before 6 p.m. on Wednesday November 22nd. They will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Some of the menu items include freshly baked breads; veggie spring rolls; lobster in fillo pastry; brie, pear, and almond flowers; butternut squash soup with apple; potato leek soup; Bell and Evans free range turkey, whole or carved; roasted apple and sausage stuffing; mashed red potatoes; French green beans amandine; roasted autumn veggies; homemade cranberry sauce; and, of course, many desserts to choose from. Here’s a deal not to miss! The Laundry Restaurant, East Hampton, has announced a special, three-course prix fixe for $19.80 per person, which offers a lighter bite for a lighter price. It’s offered Sunday through Thursday evening. As well, the restaurant continues to offer their ultimate three-course prix fixe for $29 per person, also available Sunday through Thursday. There are choices for both prix fixes, and every course features some of The Laundry’s favorites. The Laundry – established in 1980 – recently relocated to its current Montauk Highway location one mile east of East Hampton Village. Dinner is served 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. seven nights a week. The Southampton Inn is now offering a cooking class the first Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. The next class will take place on Tuesday, November 7th, at 7 p.m. at the Inn. Executive Chef Joe Hsu will take attendees on an international culinary cavalcade that will focus on the preparation of holiday dishes from around the world. There will be a food tasting following the preparation and an open wine bar throughout the event. The cooking class will cost $25 per person. Space is limited and reservations are recommended. The Olde Speonk Inn offers a $28 prix fixe Tuesday thru Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. They also have Wednesday “Game Night” in their dining room with different games weekly. Thursday they offer a “Wine Lovers Night” where their entire wine list is half price when an entrée is ordered. In Sag Harbor, the Oasis Waterfront Restaurant and Bar offers a three-course prix fixe dinner menu Thursday, Friday and Sunday until 7 p.m. Choose an entrée and get an appetizer and dessert for the price of the entrée. Bobby Van’s in Bridgehampton offers three different specials. They serve a three-course prix fixe for $25 per person, as well as steak and fries for only $19 per person, both are offered all night Sunday thru Thursday. In Greenport, The Townsend Manor Inn serves up a dinner special every Friday night. Order an entrée and get an appetizer for free. They also offer weekend breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. and lunch Friday thru Sunday from 12 to 2:30 p.m. They are closed on Tuesday.
