Shop ‘til You Drop... With Maria Tennariello
Oh my! The spring season is changing back to winter for a few days, but that doesn’t put a chill on shopping for great bargains. With the spring sales that are going on, I love doing what I do, so let’s do it together…
On Main Street in Westhampton Beach, at Main Street Sweets and Ben & Jerry’s, everyone is invited to stop in on Tuesday, April 17, from 12-8 p.m. for a free ice cream cone! The store will also be selling Ben & Jerry’s “peace, love and ice cream bracelets” for $2, with the profits going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research. Hatchlings, on Main Street in Southampton, is having a sale on children’s clothing and accessories. There is so much to choose from at this fine children’s clothing and gift boutique. You can put a complete wardrobe together in no time at all for those little (and big) darlings, up to fourteen years of age. Hatchlings also offers monogramming on special items, gift wrapping and shipping with their signature boxes and ribbons.
I stopped in at Little Lucy’s, on Jobs Lane in Southampton, for the skinny on doggie treats. If you are among those who are anxious about where to find “safe,” delicious doggie treats, look no further – I have found a good source. The locally-made biscuits are made with the finest organic ingredients, including treats that are wheat and corn-free. Popular flavors are peanut butter and honey, breath-a-licous and apples and cinnamon. This week, Little Lucy’s will be serving a variety of tasty samples, so stop in with your best friend for a tasty treat. This is Tino’s (my mini schnauzer) favorite place to visit. We shop ‘til we drop here. No kidding!
On Jobs Lane in Southampton, at Women’s Wear, there is a cool 50% off of select merchandise, just right for the spring season. Now is the time to stock up, girls, so get going!
Paulpac, also on Jobs Lane, is having a super sale with merchandise selling for 80% off. There is a huge selection of perfect purses and bags and so much more. This is a fun shop, so don’t pass this sale by.

It’s time to get back home to chart my shopping course for next week. Leaving Sag Harbor, I gaze out over the bay on Long Beach Road and think, after all these years, how lucky I am to living and working here.
