La Fondita in Amagansett will open for the 2007 season on Wednesday, April 25. They will be open Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m. and 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. For more information or to place an order call La Fondita at (631) 267-8800.

Almond in Bridgehampton is now offering a special plat du jour every night. The dishes are as follows: Sunday, chicken and red bliss potato hash; Monday, beef bourguignon; Tuesday, coquille St. Jacques; Thursday, grilled whole fish; and Friday and Saturday, roasted rack of veal. Plat du jour prices vary based on market price. Almond is also offering a $25 prix fixe all night on Saturday and a $21.95 three course prix fixe until 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Tuesday and all night on Monday. The Plaza Cafe in Southampton will be hosting a wine dinner on April 26 starting at 6 p.m. The dinner will include wine selections from the Hartley-Ostini Hitching Post Winery. The cost of the dinner is $125 per person. The menu items include: seared sea scallops with spring pea puree, morel foam and Pinot Noir reduction; pan roasted wild king salmon with red wine risotto baby white and green asparagus and grilled ramps; and herb crusted rack of lamb with roasted artichoke with Catapano Farms goat cheese galette and tomato confit. Annona Restaurant in Westhampton Beach celebrates its third season on Thursday, April 26. To show customer appreciation, general manager Pietro Bottero and co-chefs Daniel Ross-Leutwyler and Brian Leth will serve a $18 three-course prix fixe dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. Also, come early and receive two-for-one drink specials during happy hour from 5-8 p.m. For more information please contact Annona Restaurant at (631) 288-7766.

The Patio in Westhampton Beach is offering a $25 prix fixe menu plus tax and gratuity and it includes coffee and tea. The menu is available on Friday from 5:30 p.m. to close. Menu items include the patio salad with baby greens tossed in a Roma tomato balsamic sour on a bed of feathered cucumber with crumbled Boursin cheese in an herbed tomato bowl; horseradish and Gorgonzola crusted grilled New York strip perched atop a mound of shallow fried Tuscan white bean and beef jerky potato hash with 20 year old tawny port demi glace, also available plain grilled; and Westhampton Beach scallop and shrimp stuffed tilapia with garlic whipped potatoes, Parmesan spinach and sherry leek cream sauce. Michael Anthony's Food Bar in Wading River is serving a seven-course wine dinner on Thursday, April 26 starting at 6 p.m. The cost of this wine dinner is $60 per person plus tax and gratuity. Some menu items include: lump crab parfait with tarragon, creme fraiche and sliced cucumber served with Brancott Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand; and slow cooked chicken with champion mushrooms brie and shallots wrapped in a puff pastry paired with Stone Leigh Pinot Noir, from New Zealand. Jedediah's in Jamesport at the Jedediah Hawkins Inn is serving a special Corey Creek Vineyards wine dinner on Friday, April 27 from 5 to 10 p.m. in the Captain's Cellar.
