Julie Benz to Play Hamptons Farm Owner on "Royal Pains"

Actress Julie Benz just landed a guest-starring role on the upcoming third season of “Royal Pains,” USA Network’s hit show about a doctor to the rich-and-famous in the Hamptons.

Julie Benz, best known for her role on the Showtime series “Dexter,” will be playing a mother who owns and lives on a farm in the Hamptons and comes down with a mysterious illness after she takes a nasty fall and suffers a wound that won’t heal in a new episode.

Her character will also be married to a woman while raising a young daughter.
