Police Divers Find Human Skull Remains In Amagansett
The East Hampton Town Police Department’s Dive Team has reported that they have found the remains of a human skull in connection to the May 24th, 2011 discovery of a headless, decomposing human body. No foul play was suspected when police first discovered the headless body, but the human skull remains are still being investigated.
The skull was located in 8 to 10 feet of water, 40 yards from the shore to the west of Big Alberts Landing Beach in Amagansett. This Hamptons story has caused a lot of chatter as this is not far from where Paul McCartney and other notable Hampton residents live.
The human skull was found in close proximity to the location where the remains were recovered according to the East Hampton Town Police Department.
