The PotatoHampton Race Results Are In!
A big congratulations to Manhattan resident Richard Temerian, who was the overall winner in the Dan’s Papers PotatoHampton 5K that took place last Saturday. Mr Temerian, 52, completed the race in an impressive 17 minutes and 29 seconds, which works out to a 5-minute-and-35-second-mile pace! THAT’S ONE FAST GUY!
Second place went to Harry Hackett of Bridgehampton, while Jacob Sack of Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, finished third.
The first-place female winner was Barbara Gubbins of Gubbins, which sells running shoes and other sports products in both East Hampton and Southampton. “I’ve been running this race for years and every year I have an absolute blast,” said Barbara, who crossed the finish line in 19 minutes and 32 seconds.

The Dan’s Papers PotatoHampton race runs through a beautiful stretch through Sagaponack Farmland and is arguably the most beautiful 5K in America. The pace car was driven by none other than Dan Rattiner himself in the official Dan’s Papers Smartcar!
