Polo Is Back In Bridgehampton And Here To Stay!
The sporting event that epitomizes a quintessential summer afternoon in the Hamptons will return with the 15th Anniversary Season of Bridgehampton Polo that will take place at Two Trees Farm for six consecutive Saturdays from July 23rd through August 27th. Can you believe that this was almost canceled? We sure can’t.
Co-Founder and Owner of Bridgehampton Polo Club Peter Brant says, “We are looking forward to celebrating our 15th Anniversary and have plans for an exciting season ahead. Once again Bridgehampton Polo Club will host some of the top polo players in the world and we look forward to welcoming our sponsorship partners and the thousands of fans who are expected to join us this season,” continues Brant. Amongst the players that will take to the CIRCA Championship Field for the Monty Waterbury Cup (one of the oldest, most prestigious high goal tournaments taking place July 23 – August 6) and the Hamptons Cup (August 13 – August 27) are Nacho Figueras, polo star and face of Ralph Lauren, as well as high-goalers Mariano Aguerre playing for White Birch, Tomas Garcia del Rio playing for Certified and CIRCA high- goaler Christian “Magoo” La Prida.
CIRCA’s Chairman and CEO Chris Del Gatto, himself an active polo player and captain of the CIRCA team that reached last year’s finals, says “After having a great run last season with the CIRCA Polo Team, we are thrilled to come back for what will be a precedent-setting season; with the added excitement of sponsoring the CIRCA Championship Field.”
This year, under the big white Blue Star Jets VIP tent, guests will enjoy live musical performances, celebrity hosts, notable chefs and specialty bars as well as exclusive fashion boutiques.
Partnering with Donna Karan, Bridgehampton Polo Club will benefit Hope Help and Rebuild Haiti. Started by Donna Karan and her Urban Zen Foundation immediately following the January 2010 earthquake, the Hope Help and Rebuild Haiti initiative is aimed at galvanizing a community in response to Haiti’s need to rebuild. The Urban Zen Lounge will offer the Urban Zen Retail Collection supporting this incredible foundation.
We’re glad this is back at Two Trees Farm in Bridgehampton.
