The season is in full swing; the shops are filled with visitors and locals alike. The push this season is jewelry, the chunkier the better, and I am finding such beautiful collections available at affordable prices, especially in the trunk shows. Let’s shop!

On Thursday, July 21, 4 to 6 p.m., there is a Ramy Brook “Trunk Show” happening at Edit, 28 Jobs Lane, Southampton. Let’s wish Judith Leiber a “Happy 90th Birthday” with a showing of a great collection of her bags in the garden at Collette Designer Boutique, 22 Main Street, Southampton, Sunday, July 24, 1 to 3 p.m. There will be a great collection of Judith Leiber bags as well as a book signing with Jeffrey Sussman, author of the designer’s memoir, No Mere Bagatelles, making it a true celebration of her birthday. Looking for the infamous Ms. Tracy Tooker? Well I just found out, after an extensive search for her as requested by some of my readers, that she is gearing up for Polo, Hampton Classic and major events by showing her hats at Stitch located on Nugent Street, Southampton. Stitch is a great source for handmade women’s clothing and accessories. Top that with a Tooker hat, and you’re all set to go.
