Vice President Joe Biden Back in the Hamptons

Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, have returned for a summer vacation in the Hamptons, for a stay that’s expected to last until Monday.

Biden stopped by 75 Main on his last trip to Southampton, over Memorial Day Weekend, and was also spotted browsing shops in town, while last year the Vice President was seen hitting the beach and unleashing his swing at the Southampton Golf Club. This year’s trip started off on a somewhat different note, as striking Verizon workers who have been picketing in Southampton took their cause outside his vacation home earlier on Wednesday.

President Obama will reportedly be in New York City on Thursday and Friday, but there don’t seem to be any plans for him to head to the East End. Obama is scheduled to stick with his annual vacation tradition and head to Martha’s Vineyard later this month—but keep your eyes open for President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arriving in East Hampton at the end of August.
