Jerry Seinfeld Goes Live with Kelly

Hamponite Jerry Seinfeld took his seat next to Kelly Ripa in the first phase of life without Regis Philben on Live! With Kelly this morning. Seinfeld gave a shout-out to Philbin—“One more time—for building this empire”—and expressed his thanks for the gig.

“I feel very honored that you invited me to be the first person to be part of Operation: Smooth Transition,” he told Ripa. But don’t get too used to seeing Seinfeld sitting there. He’ll only be guest-hosting this shortened Thanksgiving week. Neil Patrick Harris will be the guest host next week.
