Tate’s Chocolate Chip Cookies Rule America
Cookie lovers of the Hamptons, rejoice. After tasting 18 store-bought and fast-food-chain chocolate chip cookies, Consumer Reports named Tate’s Bake Shop’s Chocolate Chip Cookies as the best store-bought chocolate-chip cookie on the market.
“The sweet treats from Tate’s Bake Shop were the clear winners. The large, crispy cookies tasted freshly baked, with big butter and chocolate flavors,” wrote Consumer Reports.
The Tate’s cookie empire began in Southampton, and with a Consumer Reports rating of Excellent for its chocolate chip creations has eclipsed offerings from Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts, McDonald’s, Subway and other cookie purveyors across the country.
Of course, we’ve know all this for for years—and you voted Tate’s Bake Shop the Platinum Award for Best Cookie in the Hamptons in the 2011 Dan’s Best of the Best!
