Wine Club Gets New Home, New Name

Our own Over the Barrel scribe and New York Cork Report executive editor Lenn Thompson is in an Empire State of mind over news about changes over at the New York Cork Club.

“I am excited to announce that our wine club, formerly known as the New York Cork Club, will be reborn on January 1, 2012 as the Empire State Cellars Wine Club, fulfilled by Empire State Cellars in Riverhead,” Thompson wrote on New York Cork Report.

Don’t fear, oenophiles. Although the wine club has new digs, Thompson will continue to select the wines himself.
