Nick & Toni's Chef Joe Realmuto Honored

East Hampton Chef Joe Realmuto, executive chef at Nick & Toni’s, has been honored with the inaugural Community First Award. Realmuto was nominated by Doreen Quaranto of Most Holy Trinity Church in East Hampton for his work with the community soup dinners; spearheading the Seedlings Project that teaches children about slow food and the importance of buying, farming and sourcing produce locally; helping to organize the weekly Farmer’s Market held in the Nick & Toni’s parking lot; and teaching local school children cooking techniques.
