The star kicked it off by setting tongues wagging on the red carpet and again onstage at the Oscars, then shed tears that spread across the Internet on American Idol. But the AI judge turns the heat higher still with her sexy V magazine cover shoot.

So just what message is Lopez sending in this sultry celebration of the Sweet Science? “I can take a lot of punches and still keep going. I’ve been trained like a boxer to go 15 rounds,” Lopez tells V. “I know how to fight!” Wonder if she knows boxing is coming to Southampton?
