Sag Harbor Ferry Gets Final Green Light

A ferry between Greenport and Sag Harbor has navigated its final hurdle, with the Suffolk County Legislature voting unanimously in approval of the fare rates.

The ferry will be up and running by the end June. Ferry prices are expected to be $11 one way and $20 for round-trip tickets, the boat will have a maximum load of 53 passengers and will be called “The Peconic Bay Water Jitney.” 

The town will earn $12,000 in docking fees for the venture if it is successful.
