Fireworks! Parades! Happy Fourth of July on the East End
Celebrating Independence Day wouldn’t be complete without a parade, a fireworks extravaganza, or both! Whether you’re in the Hamptons or on the North Fork, we’re looking forward to three parades, three fireworks shows and one awesome Fourth of July!
July 4th Parades
Southampton Village Independence Day Parade Beginning at Railroad Plaza at 10 a.m. and then traveling down Main Street and Jobs Lane before ending at Agawam Park.
New Suffolk Parade The fun starts at 11 a.m. at the corner of Tuttle Road and New Suffolk Roads and marches to its end at Town Beach in New Suffolk.
Southold Merchants July 4th Parade Come to Boisseau Avenue and Tuckers Lane in Southold at noon as the Southold Merchants step out for their annual July 4th parade through the hamlet center.
July 4th Fireworks
Montauk: Sponsored by the Montauk Chamber of Commerce, this annual event starts at 9 p.m. The fireworks are set off from Umbrella Beach, but the show can be viewed from any of the ocean beaches. Donations are being accepted at the chamber office. Rain date: July 5 UPDATE: FIREWORKS RESCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, JULY 5
Westhampton: Look up around 9 p.m. and you can enjoy the fireworks display put on by the Westhampton Country Club. The show can be seen from various locations throughout the village.
Greenport: Fireworks will be part of the carnival in Greenport from July 3 through 7, but there’s always something special about a show on Independence Day. Fireworks will start at 10 p.m.
