Richard Gere at Nick & Toni’s Post-HIFF

After picking up his Lifetime Achievement Award at the Hamptons International Film Festival, Arbitrage star Richard Gere was at Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton, where other Hollywood and Hamptons notables including Meryl Streep, Mike Nichols, Blythe Danner, Alec Baldwin, Liev Schreiber and Brendan Fraser also dined. The New York Post reports that a witness told them Mr. Gere was chatting with a blonde fellow diner whose husband wasn’t pleased with the interaction but a Gere spokesperson said, “Reality is, he was at a table with his agents and their wives. On his way out, he stopped to say hi to the people at that table, and joked with the people briefly before leaving.”
