“Here’s the Thing With Alec Baldwin” Runs Thanksgiving Marathon
Hamptons actor Alec Baldwin’s new “Here’s the Thing” podcast has been a hit with listeners since first airing back in April. Recently, it was so popular during a November 12-16 run on Detroit’s WDET radio, the station has decided to run a five-episode marathon starting at 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving day. You can listen to WDET online here.
The bi-weekly WNYC podcast series brings listeners along with Baldwin as he interviews artists, policy makers and performers. Guests include fellow Hampton-ite Billy Joel, late night host David Letterman, Montauk artist Peter Beard, East End author Erica Jong and Oscar-winning actor Michael Douglas. Every two weeks, Baldwin pursues excellent conversation in unexpected places to get to know his guests, “what motivates them and what keeps them up at night.” Listen to what happens when Baldwin, an inveterate guest, becomes a host.
If you can’t listen to WDET online Thursday, listen on iTunes or sign up for the “Here’s The Thing” with Alec Baldwin newsletter to get the latest on upcoming episodes.
Most recently, Baldwin interviewed actor Andrew McCarthy in the November 4 episode.
