Laurent Tourondel Settles Trademark Suit

Hamptons celebrity chef and owner of LT Burger in Sag Harbor and Manhattan, Laurent Tourondel has settled an August 2010 trademark lawsuit filed against him by his former employer BLT Restaurant Group.
BLT, a division of ESquared Hospitality, claimed the former BLT executive chef and his partner Michael Cinque violated their trademarks, including exclusive menu selections, by mimicking their well-established line of restaurants, according to bloomberg.com.
BLT, which stands for Bistro Laurent Tourondel, operates more than 22 restaurants around the world, including BLT Steak, BLT Fish, BLT Prime and Casa Nonna.
Details of the settlement were not released.
