Alec Baldwin Wraps Final Episode of 30 Rock
Amagansett‘s busiest actor Alec Baldwin and his castmates from NBC’s 30 Rock celebrated the end of an era last night at the show’s wrap party at Capitale in Manhattan last night. Shooting concluded after seven hilarious seasons, and the special hour-long final episode of 30 Rock will air on NBC at 8 p.m. on January 31.
Baldwin, who played fictional NBC head Jack Donaghy on 30 Rock, attended the bittersweet occasion with his wife Hilaria Thomas. He was joined by 30 Rock castmates—including Tina Fey, Jane Krakowski, Jack McBrayer, Judah Friedlander, Grizz Chapman, Scott Adsit, Maulik Pancholy, Katrina Bowden and Kevin Brown. Show costar Tracy Morgan was not at the event.
All new episodes of 30 Rock leading up to the series finale return to NBC Thursday, January 10 at 8 p.m.
30 Rock earned 90 Emmy nominations and 14 wins during its run. The show won three consecutive Emmys for Outstanding Comedy Series between 2006 and 2009 and it had the record for most Emmy nominations for a comedy program in one year with 22 nominations in 2009. The show also won a Golden Globe for Best Television Series Comedy or Musical, as well as awards from the Screen Actors Guild, Writers Guild, Producers Guild and Television Critics Association.
