ARF Awarded Four Stars from Charity Navigator
Congratulations to ARF! The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons has been awarded the prestigious 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent evaluator of charities for good governance, sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency.
“We are honored and delighted to receive this high distinction from Charity Navigator,” said Lisa McCarthy, President of ARF’s Board of Directors. Charity Navigator works to help charitable givers make giving decisions by providing information on non-profit organizations’ financial health.
“Approximately a quarter of charities we evaluate have received our highest rating, indicating that Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons outperforms most other charities in America,” said Ken Berger, President and CEO of Charity Navigator, in a letter to ARF.
ARF is currently the only animal welfare organization on the East End with such a high rating.
