Alec Baldwin Interviews Lena Dunham

Amagansett actor Alec Baldwin released his interview with Lena Dunham—the Golden Globe-winning creator, executive producer and star of HBO‘s Girls—as the latest episode of his Here’s the Thing podcast on Monday.
The two found they had much more in common than Baldwin anticipated. The actor said he imagined Dunham much more like her character on Girls, Hannah Horvath.
Now that Baldwin‘s hit show 30 Rock is coming to an end, Dunham told the him that Girls will begin shooting on the NBC sitcom’s former sound stage. In a related moment of the conversation, Baldwin suggested he could play Horvath‘s therapist, since he’s no longer playing fictional NBC head Jack Donaghy on 30 Rock. Later, he said he’d enjoy a role in one of Dunham‘s future movie projects, and she admitted that working with Baldwin has been a longtime goal.
