JLo Gets Razzie Nod for "What to Expect"

The Razzie nominations are in and—thankfully—Hamptonites and their work are largely absent from the list. But there are a few who have been recognized for their “talents.” Water Mill‘s Jennifer Lopez has been tapped for Worst Supporting Actress for her role in What to Expect When You’re Expecting. Lopez played “Holly,” a photographer willing to travel the planet in order to adopt a child. Barbra Streisand, who was in East Hampton over the summer at a party hosted by Donna and Gabby Karan to celebrate the film The Perks of Being a Wallflower, may receive a Worst Actress “Raspberry” for her work in newly released Seth Rogan film The Guilt Trip. And Adam Sandler, another East End visitor, received a Worst Actor nomination for That’s My Boy.

The Golden Raspberry Awards (Razzies), which recognizes the worst in film, will hold its 33rd annual ceremony the day before the Academy Awards—as per tradition—on February 23. Here’s hoping the East End is well represented on February 24.
