"Smash" Season Two with Debra Messing

Hamptons regular Debra Messing should be excited that Season 2 of her hit show Smash begins in less than 10 days.

She stars  as writer Julia Houston in the NBC musical drama. Her character is one half of the Houston-Levitt (Christian Borle) team, responsible for some major Broadway hits. This season, “Julia struggles to balance the relentless demands of Broadway with the needs of her family, and the return of her old flame, musical theater star Michael Swift (Will Chase), hasn’t made life any easier.”

Messing won an Emmy award for her work on the popular and critically acclaimed sitcom Will & Grace in 2003, and she’s been nominated for seven Golden Globes and seven Screen Actors Guild awards, among many others.

Here’s a preview of Smash Season 2. The drama begins with a special two-hour premiere on NBC at 9 p.m. Tuesday, February 5.
